Internationally renowned pianist and musicologist Jascha Nemtsov will perform an exquisite recital programme with rarely heard works by Jewish composers from the 20th century. Many of these works will be performed for the first time in New Zealand. Jascha will also share valuable insights about their historical backgrounds and composers from the stage. He will be joined by cellist Eliah Sakakushev to perform heart-rending works by M. Weinberg and J. Stutschewsky. The concert is a highlight of the LIMMUD NZ 2017 programme and is open to a wider audience.
