ISRAEL: AN ANGLICAN ATHEIST'S PERSPECTIVE - ISRAEL AND ITS PUBLIC IMAGE
Matthew Hooton, political commentator on Radio New Zealand and columnist for the National Business Review and Metro magazine, recently returned from spending time in Israel.  In this session, Matthew addresses why he thinks Israel continues to receive such poor coverage in the international media, including New Zealand.  He reflects on what played out with UN Resolution 2334 and shares his insights from his recent trip to Israel. Matthew will offer some suggestions on how Israel can improve its image among politicians, civil society and the media.  This will be followed by discussions on what we can can do locally with New Zealand media and politicians.
